JOURNAL TOPIC:
In Les Mis, Jean Valjean follows many rules-- and he also breaks many rules (mostly for reasons that we think are noble).  The artist Pablo Picasso once said, "Learn the rules like a pro, so you can break them as an artist."  Which rules in life do you think are important to follow, and which rules do you think are OK-- necessary, even-- to break?
