JOURNAL TOPIC:
There is an old saying about big projects: "How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time." Now, I would never want to eat an elephant, but there are some tasks -- like reading and studying Les Misérables-- that are so big, it becomes important to break them down into more manageable pieces. So today's question is this: how should we eat this elephant? Please describe how you think we should go about breaking this big project down into bite-sized pieces that we can understand as we go.

1. Journal
2. Discussion
