JOURNAL TOPIC: [today's tunes: "We've Only Just Begun" by The Carpenters]

Plato once wrote, "The beginning is the most important part of the work."  Aristotle put it this way: "Well begun is half done."  As we begin our work today, it's worth a moment to ask ourselves: What's so special about beginning?

AGENDA:
1. Journal
2. Review your ideas
3. Game plan
4. So we begin

POST your translation of Hugo's preface to Les Misérables ("So long as there shall exist...")

title: WELCOME TO LES MIS (your first sentence might be something like, "At the beginning of the book, the author wrote a preface-- this is my translation.")

thank you

As often as I say it, I feel like I don't say it often enough: Thank You. Thank you for your effort, your insight, your willingness...
